Our sister company, Bali Yoga & Wellness was established in 2005 with its main focus on personal yoga & health practices for students in the privacy of their homes, villas or hotel rooms in Bali. This specialised service is very dear to my heart, as the attention on the individual is really one of the main cornerstones of yoga and my work: creating a daily personal practice taylor-suited to your holistic wellbeing and your balance.

Privates & Mentoring

Yoga Privates & Mentoring are done in person or online and are specifically adapted to your current needs. Whether you are just starting out on your yoga journey, want to deepen your practice or have a specific area you would like to work on, Yoga One-on-Ones not only seek to support your body’s needs but venture into breathing techniques, (pranayama) meditation, mantras, chanting and additional yogic tools to balance your mental, emotional and spiritual well being just like an all around tune-up. Together with the physical aspects of the yoga practice, Beate also offers yogic mentoring, that you can enjoy together with an asana practice or separate. Yogic mentoring is not about advising or telling the student what to do, but together we explore how ancient yogic philosophies and practices can be applied to your current challenges to move towards balance and freedom. Challenges may be current relationships, your job, your body or just wanting to get clarity, where to go as the next step is unfolding.

A personal yoga practice can be the foundation for your overall well-being, especially if you get up with it regularly. When we take time each day to take care of our bodies, as well as of our minds, emotions, breathing and self-reflect, balance, confidence and a certain lightness readily flows into our lives.  More and more we let go and control less. 

We become freer.    

I specifically create a customised daily practice plan for you that fits your current holistic needs and can be refreshed every 3 months. Initially we meet twice, either in person or online: the first time for 90 minutes for an inventory, a conversation and a personal yoga practice where I can get a picture. I will then write you a personal program that includes. 

* asanas (body positions) – a sequence specially designed for you

* pranayama (breathing exercises)

* meditation

* mantras, affirmations, chants

* daily rituals (morning rituals, gratitude list, reading list, Sankalpa – intentions, prayers …)

* holistic life tips (nutrition, cleansing, Ayurveda)

 We then meet again for 60 minutes and go through your Personal Practice together and adapt it at the same time.  A few days after that I will send you your complete Personal Practice, customised to your life, aches & joys, and ideas, yay! Practice into freedom!
