Nutrition & Hydration

Food & Drink During Your Yoga Journey

Your culinary journey takes you through exciting Indonesian and Balinese specialties and spices from the local market, often sourced directly from our resort’s land in Jatiluwih and frequently with Western accents.

We place great importance on fresh, high-quality, and organic ingredients, as proper nutrition is an essential part of yoga, and indeed of life. Meals are lovingly prepared with coconut oil, Amed sea salt, local herbs and spices, and superfoods such as raw Balinese cocoa, moringa, and chia seeds.

Your yoga teacher training or yoga holiday includes 3 healthy meals a day, water, tea, and Bali coffee, as well as refreshing smoothies in the morning in Amed & Jatiluwih. On days off, meals are at your own expense.

What does a Sample Menu look Like?

  • Morning Break : Herbal teas or raw cacao smoothie made with coconut-nut milk, cinnamon, bananas, and palm syrup (Amed).
  • Breakfast: Fresh, seasonal tropical fruit or fruit salads, homemade granola with yoghurt or coconut yoghurt, chia pudding, eggs any kind with toast, scrambled tofu, pancakes, Balinese hits like Black Rice Pudding and superfood surprises. Teas and Bali Coffee

  • Dinner: soups followed by vegetable kebabs with potato dishes and salad, or jackfruit curries.

Can I Drink the Tap Water in Bali?

In Bali, tap water is generally not safe to drink—except in Jatiluwih, where some water is drinkable for us! Otherwise, stick to bottled or filtered water.

We encourage you to bring a reusable, non-plastic water bottle and refill it regularly with the safe drinking water provided. Staying hydrated is crucial in Bali’s tropical climate, where sweating is more intense.

If you feel dehydrated, drink coconut water and consider adding Oralit (rehydration sachets) to your water, sipping it slowly for effective recovery.
