Food & Drink
Food & Drink During Your Yoga Journey
Your yoga teacher training or holiday includes 3 wholesome daily meals, plus water and tea, with refreshing morning smoothies in Amed. Coffee is available upon request but may not always be included. On free days and excursions, meals are at your own expense, giving you the freedom to explore Bali’s local culinary delights.
We emphasize fresh, high-quality, and organic ingredients, believing that proper nutrition is a vital part of yoga. Meals are lovingly prepared with olive or coconut oil, Amed sea salt, and superfoods like raw Balinese cacao and chia seeds.
As part of your experience, you’ll enjoy a culinary journey highlighting Indonesian and Balinese specialties. At Batukaru Coffee Estate, savor farm-to-table dishes prepared by a skilled Balinese chef, offering both nourishment and a taste of authentic Balinese flavors.

What does a Sample Menu look Like?
- Morning Break : Raw cacao smoothie made with coconut-nut milk, cinnamon, bananas, and palm syrup (Amed).

Tea and coffee available in Batu Karu.
- Lunch

- Dinner
Starter soups followed by vegetable kebabs with potato dishes and salad, or jackfruit curries.
- Desserts & Sugar
Desserts are available, but we prioritize minimizing sugar and encourage mindful discussion and choices about its intake. Each student decides their own approach to sweets!

Can I Drink the Tap Water in Bali?
In Bali, tap water is generally not safe to drink—except in Jatiluwih, where some water is drinkable for us! Otherwise, stick to bottled or filtered water.
We encourage you to bring a reusable, non-plastic water bottle and refill it regularly with the safe drinking water provided. Staying hydrated is crucial in Bali’s tropical climate, where sweating is more intense.
If you feel dehydrated, drink coconut water and consider adding Oralit (rehydration sachets) to your water, sipping it slowly for effective recovery.
